*Guy opens Google*
Internet: Hi, what are you looking up today?
Guy: I want to start this new coding project.
*Guy looks it up in the search bar*
Internet: Ok, here are some of the results. It looks like you need this special software to do this project.
Guy: Ok, that’s fine as long as it’s free.
*Guy clicks on the website*
Guy: Um, what the heck is this website.
Internet: What do you mean? It’s where you download the software you need.
Guy: Are you sure, this is like one of the sketchiest websites I’ve ever seen.
Internet: Don’t worry about that, it’s nothing bad.
*Guy clicks the download button and opens the installer*
Internet: Ok, so all you have to do is read and agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
Guy: It’s like 200 pages! I’m not reading that whole thing.
Internet: Ok, but if accidentally agree to give them your social security number then it’s not my fault.
Guy: Whatever, I’m just going to scroll to the bottom and check the box.
*Guy clicks next and sees a page asking for permissions*
Guy: Why does it need access to my camera?
Internet: It’s probably for one of features. Just press allow.
Guy: Fine, I’m only doing it because if I don’t do it then the program will just not work at all for some reason.
*Guy clicks install and his laptop immediately blue screens*

Guy: What? Why did it do that? What did you get me to install?
Internet: Hey, don’t blame me right away. It might not have been the program. Maybe it was just your computer.
*Guy picks up his phone and looks it up*
Guy: I can’t find an answer.
Internet: Hey, there’s a reddit thread from like 10 years ago that talks about the same problem.
*Guy reads the thread*
Guy: They never figured it out.
Internet: Just restart your computer then and see if the program works at all.
*Guy restarts his computer and tries to open the program*
Guy: And it doesn’t work.
The End.
